About Us

Independent Surety Bond Agency

Evergreen Surety is an independent surety bond agency headquartered in Denver, Colorado. We’ve been doing this for over 12 years, and we work with clients across the United States and Canada.

We’re not a general insurance agency that handles bonds on the side. Surety is all we do. That focus makes a difference, and it’s the reason clients come to us when a bond matters.

What Sets Us Apart

Because surety is all we do, the knowledge compounds in ways it can’t at a generalist agency. We’re not context-switching between insurance products and bond requests. Every carrier relationship, every underwriting conversation, every account we’ve worked has gone toward getting better at this one thing.

The bigger difference for most clients is what happens around the bond. Getting a bond placed is the starting point. What moves a program forward over time is understanding what underwriters are actually looking at and helping clients improve those metrics year over year. We work alongside clients’ CPAs, bankers, and attorneys. We analyze financial statements, benchmark key ratios against industry data, and review contracts before they’re signed. Most bond agencies don’t do any of that. We think it’s part of the job.

The goal isn’t a single transaction. It’s a bond program that grows with your company. That’s what we’re building toward with every client we take on.

Who We Work With

Our clients are contractors, developers, and energy producers – typically companies that have outgrown a transactional relationship with a bond agency and need something more substantive.

Contractors

General contractors, subcontractors, and homebuilders who are growing, looking to increase their bonding capacity, and want an advisor who can help them get there. Not just process their next bond request.

Developers

Companies with complicated financial structures, letters of credit tying up cash they can’t afford to lock away, or municipality requirements that have them stuck. These aren’t always straightforward accounts. That’s fine.

Energy producers

Oil and gas operators, renewable energy developers, and mining companies who need financial assurance bond programs their existing insurance agency couldn’t place. Energy bonding is specialized. Most generalist agencies aren’t equipped for it. We are.

If you’re looking for a single low-cost license bond or a one-time permit bond, we’re probably not the right fit. For everything else, get in touch and we’ll tell you quickly whether we can help.
